The New York State Police is investigating an incident involving聽two buses used by the state Department of Corrections and Community Supervision that were vandalized in Cayuga County.听
The vandalism was reported Wednesday, according to state police. The buses are owned by a DOCCS contractor and were parked in a storage lot on Route 370 in the town of Victory.听
Heavy fair damage was observed in the rear area of one bus. A spray-painted message was left on another bus. The message reads, "Can you hear us now."聽

DOCCS spokesperson Thomas Mailey told 人兽性交 Saturday that "the investigation into who committed these acts is ongoing."聽

The buses were vandalized during a turbulent time for DOCCS. A correction officer strike began Feb. 17 and continues this week. Officers at Auburn and Cayuga correctional facilities are participating in the statewide protest.听
Gov. Kathy Hochul activated the National Guard to provide security at affected prisons. DOCCS and the New York State Correctional Officers and Police Benevolent Association, the union representing most correction officers, are in mediation this week to end the strike.听
